How To Deal w/ Poisonous People in Business

People are absolutely hilarious! I got a nasty email last night from an apparently really butt-hurt person who found it appropriate to vent by calling me names and attempting to insult me over a website special I was having. Man, did I ever get a good laugh from his email! I’m not going to apologize for anything. I am SO NOT SORRY that he obviously feels threatened by little old me. I’m assuming the intent of the email was to knock me down or attempt to break my spirits, unfortunately for this person, I don’t fold that easily and they have done nothing but strengthen my resolve.

Dealing with business bulliesMoral of the story: People will not always see eye to eye. People will try to break you, they will try to fill you with doubt,  they will try to knock you out of the running so that there is more pie for their greedy ass. Clearly, they are unhappy in life and want to tear someone else down to try and feel better about themselves. DON’T LET THEM WIN! Follow your dreams no matter what, you will inevitably piss people off along the way and guess what? That’s their problem, not yours! Stick with it, trudge on and laugh in the face of animosity, bullying, anger and little people who so obviously feel threatened by you and your work. Laugh it off, for these people do not matter to you. Believe in yourself and your work.

I don’t know who sent that message but I have to thank them. I had a good laugh,  it strengthened my resolve, and I absolutely love knowing that out there somewhere, someone feels intimidated by me and my work.

I love what I do, I love how I help small businesses and goddamit, life is beautiful!!!

So suck on that Mr. Hater! Cheers!!  🙂
